TENANCY AGREEMENTS/LEASES

If you are a Landlord and you require advice or a draft regarding a tenancy agreement or lease then do not hesitate to contact us by filling in the below contact form.

Our solicitors understand that letting or renting a property can sometimes be a complicated experience that ends in dispute between tenants and landlords. That's why tenancy agreements are so popular for both owners and tenants.

WHAT IS A TENANCY AGREEMENT?

A tenancy agreement is a contract between a landlord and a tenant that governs the terms and conditions of their rental agreement, specifying each party's rights and responsibilities.

A tenancy agreement is dealt with via an assured shorthold tenancy for a fixed term, so that there is no security of tenure for the tenant at the end of that term should the landlord wish to bring the tenancy to an end. A standard notice of two months must be given to the tenant.

This may not suit your needs and you may require a lease or another form of agreement We advise if you are intending to grant a tenancy, or you are thinking of entering into a tenancy agreement as a tenant, that you seek legal advice from us prior to doing so.
